We were given some time to discuss preparations for the Gala Fundraiser, which we had this past weekend, thanks to all the hard work from the ACCESS group, it ended up being a blast and we raised a lot of money for AIM to Empower (the total raised is still being counted, because donations are still rolling in)!
Session 5 provided it’s peak challenges thus far in the program, with rewarding feelings of doing the work and seeing the transformation happen. This training has done so much more than teach me how to lead a yoga class. It’s provided work for me to do, not just on the outside, but within as well.
Your body moves through 11 different stages as you flow through Journey Into Power. From cardio training to balancing to strengthening to stretching, Baptiste yoga provides a full-body workout that offers a multitude of benefits.
I got the chance to sit down with Executive Director of A.I.M. to Empower, Beth Weaver, to learn more about the program.
What is Drishti? We hear it every class – set your eyes on a fixed point in the room and soften your gaze. But how can you master the perfect Drishti for you?
Meet J – a current Spring 2019 ACCESS Trainee – and follow her as she shares about her experiences, breakthroughs, hurdles, and unexpected results through the Evolution Training Institute ACCESS 250-Hour Training!
I acknowledge that I have to do the work, no one else is going to get through these 250-hours for me. Completing this program is something I really want. The drive I have to see this program through to the end has motivated me to find access to tools that will help me with time managing my work/ study/ life balance.
If you are new to yoga or curious what a yoga class at Evolution Power Yoga will be like, I’m here to share about my first experience to give you an idea.
We got to talking with one of our York Instructors, Sarah, and her husband, Francisco, to learn a little bit about their lives off the mat and outside of the studio.
I feel very empowered by the ACCESS training group and the friends I am making in my training. I can share things without feeling judged and it really is a safe space where everyone is very supportive
