My ACCESS Journey: Week 6

We were given some time to discuss preparations for the Gala Fundraiser, which we had this past weekend, thanks to all the hard work from the ACCESS group, it ended up being a blast and we raised a lot of money for AIM to Empower (the total raised is still being counted, because donations are still rolling in)!

see me see you

Session 5 provided it’s peak challenges thus far in the program, with rewarding feelings of doing the work and seeing the transformation happen. This training has done so much more than teach me how to lead a yoga class. It’s provided work for me to do, not just on the outside, but within as well.

I acknowledge that I have to do the work, no one else is going to get through these 250-hours for me. Completing this program is something I really want. The drive I have to see this program through to the end has motivated me to find access to tools that will help me with time managing my work/ study/ life balance.

My ACCESS Journey: Week 2

forward fold

I feel very empowered by the ACCESS training group and the friends I am making in my training. I can share things without feeling judged and it really is a safe space where everyone is very supportive
