The style of yoga taught in our regular EPY classes is best described as Power Vinyasa. “Vinyasa” is the union of the body and breath, while “Power” refers to the inner strength you connect with during the practice. Through fluid motion and attention to the breath, a connection between the mind, spirit, and physical being is cultivated. With practice, you will become more aware of your personal strengths, limitations, and most importantly, the greatness that lies within you.
At EPY, our regular class flow often includes several sun salutations followed by a series of focused asanas, including balancing poses, hip openers, and inversions taught in a warm room. Each class is open to all levels and is led by one of our well-trained instructors who understand and respect the personal journey being taken by each student. Modifications are offered and encouraged whenever necessary, yet you’ll never find yourself short of a challenge. We practice as a community of equals, regardless of experience, flexibility, or strength, offering each student the opportunity to share in the unique energy that is created amongst us.
There isn’t “one day” to begin your yoga practice. The only time is Now.
