Jane joined the Evolution Power Yoga community after many years of studio and personal practice in the Bikram style of yoga. She began taking classes at EPY in the spring of 2009 and joined that season’s 40 Days to a Personal Revolution program. The experience of living a focused, powerful life inspired her to continue her journey on the yoga path.
By the fall of that same year, Jane had enrolled in EPY’s first 200-Hour Teacher Training program. “I was looking for a new challenge,” Jane says. “A new direction. I took the training not sure if I would ever teacher, but I found a community that I love to be a part of and want to continue sharing and growing with.”
When the training was over, Jane had tapped in to the tremendous power within her to positively impact those around her. “I enjoy the chance to connect with people through something that’s positive, restorative, and healthy for the body, mind, and spirit,” she explains. “I am so much happier than I was before the 40 Day program and Teacher Training.”
Today, Jane loves the new family she has found in the yoga community and hopes others will see what they can achieve by taking a step back and appreciating what they already have. “I want to inspire people to want more for and from themselves. Don’t settle for what’s always been so; do the thing that makes you excited, eager, thrilled!”
